Big Labor Day Weekend Planned at Stateline
Speedway By Glenn Slocum Busti, NY August 31st, 2011 – A huge Labor Day celebration will happen this weekend as Stateline Speedway wraps up the 2011 racing season. Points racing ended last Saturday this weekend will be about the money and the bragging rights during the off season. Racing will begin on Friday with a five division night featuring the first of two $3,000 to win Super Late Model Open tire races, $1500 for the Crate Late Model winner, $600 to E-Mod winner, $400 to Super Sportsman winner and $300 to Spectator winner. Saturday will include the second $3,000 to win Super Late Model race, the second $1,500 Crate Late Model race, a $1,000 to win UEMS E-Mod race, a $500 to win Outlaw Cadet Special and $200 to win Super Challenger Special. A “Run For It” bonus for E-Mods and Super Late Models. Heat qualifiers will be in full race attire and have a foot race down the front straight for an extra $500. Friday the E-Mod drivers will run for the money and on Saturday the Super Late drivers will run. Friday and Saturday racing will be sponsored by Roberts Trucking, William Southwell and Son, Finn’s Auto Sales and Service, Magnum Graf-x, Craiger Race Engines, CarGo Auto Parts of Warren, Rain Eater Wiper Blades, Green Core Auto, Tobber Racing and Jim and Jean Scott. Monday will complete the weekends events with the Brian Horner’s Stateline Auto Parts 100 Lap Enduro followed by a $2,000 to win Demolition Derby. Gates will open on Friday and Saturday at 5:30 PM with racing starting promptly at 7:00 pm. Adults admission $12, Kids 6-15 $5, Pits $25. On Monday Pit Gates will open at 11:00 am, Main Gates at 11:30. The Enduro will start at 1:00 PM followed by the Demo. General Admission $6 Pit Fee $20.
