Little Valley’s SLM/358 Modified Double Header Set for September 17
 
The final show of the 2011 season at Little Valley Speedway will feature the WNY Super Late Model and 358 Modified Double Header, sponsored by Randy’s Collision, on Saturday, September 17th The Super Late Models, led by latest winner, Dick Barton, will be running for $3,000 to win, while the 358s, running Dirtcar rules, with open tires, will race for $2,000 to win.  The 358 race will also be a Syracuse Preferred Qualifying Position event for the “Salute to the Troops 150.”  In addition, the BRP Can Am 360 Late Model Series will be on hand, racing for $1,000 to win, and there will be an Open Street Stock race paying $500 to win.
 
It will be the final point night for the track’s Super Late Models and 360 Late Models, with both point races up for grabs.  Dick Barton, Davis Scott, and Boom Briggs are all in the hunt for the Super Late Model crown, while Jeremy Wonderling holds the advantage over John Waters and Brian Knowles in the 360s.  
 
Little Valley Speedway is conveniently located at the Cattaraugus County Fairgrounds, just several miles north of the Salamanca exit of I-86 and eight miles from the resort town of Ellicottville. Other nearby attractions are the Seneca Casino and Allegheny State Park.  The track features a covered grandstand with stadium seats, free camping with hookups, and some of the best food in racing.
 
Adult admission is $15, with those under 12 admitted free.  Gates open at 3:00, with racing at 6:30.
