St Catharines, ONT…The Bicknell Racing Products (BRP) CanAm Late Model Series for 2011 will conclude on Saturday October 22 at Black Rock Speedway in Dundee, NY.  After 10 Series tour events and 63 Series weekly events there are many of the top fifteen point positions still up for grabs.

The top fifteen drivers in the final points tally will share in the 2011 Series point / bonus fund which will exceed $40,000.

The top fifteen positions pay, but the Series championship is the position most cherished.

The championship offers the biggest check, a tall trophy, and bragging rights.

The 2011 BRP CanAm Series champion will be either Greg Galligan, John Waters, or Jeremy Wondering.  Only those three have a mathematical chance for the title.  None of the three owns a Series title.

Wonderling has the best chance since he leads.  Waters is very much in the hunt with just a one point deficit. Galligan lurks in the background 33 points from the top.  The Series point allocation provides 100 points for a win and 40 to start.  It would take poor finish by both Waters and Wonderling combined with a win or near win by Galligan for the upset.  Galligan is thinking upset!

The ISKY Cams BRP CanAm Championship will be part of the Dutch Hoag National Open Weekend at Black Rock Speedway.  BRP CanAm race teams will have open practice on Friday October 21 with the ISKY Cams Championship on Saturday October 22.

A very different program which will include time trials is being planned.  Watch for details.
