UEMS and ULMS had a joint show at McKean County Raceway Thursday May 28 with the Dave Lundgren Memorial being the featured event for the Super Late Model drivers. McKean's other classes (ALL of them) were also in attendance with the Jason Dunham Memorial for the FASTRAK Late Models. Jay Pees brought back the below photos of the Late Model portion of the events.
"King" Richard Barton was back in the 14B and ran well but had problems during the feature.
Former track champion Jeff Hoffman races with Chris Hackett in heat action.
Chad Valone was back to try to make up for the disappointment of having a tire go down while leading the Fall Classic of 2009. Chad was involved in the "Big One" on the back straight and was unable to finish, but a car he owns, driven by David Scott, went on to the win.
In honor of long-time competitor Dave Lundgren, Jason DuPont re-numbered his car from it's usual 07 in a gesture well-received by the crowd.
Mike Knight was present with both his Late Model and E-Mod. Mike won his Late Model heat.

"Slowride" David Scott dominated the feature but had several stiff challenges from Ron Davies. Scott also won his heat race.
Ron Davies showed up fresh of a win at Eriez Speedway last Sunday in the shakedown cruise for his brand new Mars-Birkhofer chassis. Davis drove to a second-place finish.
John Lobb make the trip to McKean sporting the number "1" in stead of his usual 28.

As bad as it looks, Greg Oakes managed to get his car fired up, drove it to the pits, and, after some repairs, finished the feature! Good show Greg!!
