Tim Baker is one of the top sprint car photographers to ever hoist a camera.  Here are Tim's images from the Lernerville USAC Wingless Sprint event on May 30, 2011.

Tracy Hines was unfortunately last in the feature after timing in at 11th quick.

 

Casey Schuman was tenth in the final rundown.

 

Bobby East carries the left front into turn two.  Bobby finished seventh in the feature after timing fourth fastest.

 

Here East manages to lift both front wheels!

 

Even with a cloud of smoke erupting during his heat Chris Windom managed a 2nd quick time and was third in the feature.

 

Bryan Clauson was fifth in his heat and did not make the A-Main.

 

Coleman Gulick finished out the night in the ruinner-up spot.

 

Levi Jones set fast time and won his heat.  However he struggled with traffic in the feature, only advancing to fourth at the finish.

 

Dave Darland wound up ninth.

 

Jon Stanbrough timed fastest, won his heat, then led all 40 laps of the feature for his first USAC Sprint victory of 2011, worth $6,000.

 

Jonathan Hendrick started the first heat from the pole, then flipped off the end of the track in turn three, ending his night after qualifying 21st.

 

Daron Clayton took home an 11th for his efforts.

 

Damion Gardner won his heat, then struggled in the feature, finishing 13th.

 

J J Hughes timed 31st, did not make the A-Main.

 

Wes McIntyre took a wild ride in the fourth heat.  He was OK but done for the night.
