Jen Carlson Memorial at Stateline Speedway By Glenn Slocum Busti, NY: The Outlaw Cadet division will be highlighted this Saturday night at Stateline Speedway I the Jen Carlson Memorial Triple Purse Special sponsored by M.A.C. Truck Parts and Chad’s Ring and Pinion. Kelly Frederes, Russell PA, is the hands down favorite to win the Special he has won five of the eight feature events and has a 266 point advantage over second place Steve Moynihan, Jamestown NY. Last years champ Russell PA’s Mike Moore currently fourth in the standings has one win and Union City PA’s Glenn Slaney has two wins. Warren PA’s Chad Valone had everything his way last Saturday winning the Super Late Model King of the Hill then the feature event jumping from 10th to 6th in the points. Scott Johnson, Wattsburg PA, is the point leader and the only Super Late driver with two wins on the season. Corry PA’s Chris Hackett is second 68 points behind Johnson and Bear Lake PA’s Scott Gurdak is third. Brian Fardink, Sherman NY, won the E-Mod feature, his first, last Saturday and Bear Lake PA’s Scott Gurdak moved atop the point standings by a mere 2 points over last years champ Justin Carlson, Bear Lake PA.. Joe Buccola Jr., Falconer NY, is the Super Sportsman leader followed by John Boardman, Jamestown NY, and Sherman NY’s Ben Burgess Jr. Matt Harvey, Jamestown NY, won his second Spectator feature last week and is 7th in the standings. Brandon Groters leads the division in points and feature wins with 5 wins and a 158 point lead over second place Brocton NY’s Mike Moon. Gerry NY’s Jimmy Diabo is the Super Challenger leader.
