Fireworks at Raceway 7 this Friday; ULMS Late Models rescheduled to August 6!  Questions…questions…questions!

Conneaut, OH (July 14, 2010): The sky will be lit over Raceway 7 by a giant Fireworks display at intermission Friday night.  The show, delayed now for two weeks is always a fan favorite and will join a regular 4-Division event.  The ULMS Super Late Model race originally scheduled for last Friday night has been re-scheduled for Friday August 6.

Points leaders in all divisions will be on hand with Max Blair leading the charge in the Schwartz Construction FASTRAK Late Models. With seven wins in the first seven events, the big question is who will be able to stop this incredible streak? 2009 Champion Dennis Lunger?  Dave Airgood?  Anybody???  Just how fierce will the racing be in this class?

Russ Dunn does not yet have a win in the Zimmer Service Center E-Mods but leads two-time winner and former class Champion Joel Watson in the points chase.  Can Dunn break through with a win?  Can third-running Rich Gardner, a former stand-out Super Late Model driver, break into the Winner’s Circle?  Will Watson drive to the front is his car?...or another racecar?

Ken Zimmer leads the Campbell’s Mini Storage Street Stocks but Shawn Fawcett has been the hottest driver on the track over the last two features, winning both, and gaining on Zimmer and second-running Ed Bolyard.  Can Fawcett continue his hot streak?  Can Bolyard get a third win on the season after missing last week’s feature?  Will Zimmer get his second win of the season and lengthen his lead?

Jonny Boyd is the leader of the Evergreen Lake Campgrounds Minis by a slim four points over Bud Sergeff.  Sergeff finally got his first win two races ago but Boyd has been strong all season, registering four wins, including the most recent outing.  Who will prevail this week?  Can Boyd start registering better finishes in the heat races?  Can Sergeff get win number two and break Boyd’s feature dominance?  Can third-running Bill Rabbits step up to his first win of the season?

All the above questions will be answered Friday night July 16th at Conneaut’s Raceway 7.
