4th Annual Lucas Oil Go-Kart Shootout to Pay
$10,000 To Win in Lucas Oil Pro Class, Top Three Finishers Guaranteed
Starting Spots in Thanksgiving Thunder $10,000 to win Pro Class
JACKSONVILLE, FL (July 9, 2010)- Earl Pearson Jr. has just announced this years Lucas Oil Go-Kart Shootout to be held Nov 5-7th, will have the largest purse ever in the fourth year of putting this event on. This years Lucas Oil Pro Class will pay a whopping $10,000 to the winner with a total purse of over $18,000 in cash paid out to the top fifteen finishers in the Lucas Oil Pro Class. As an added bonus the top three finishers in this year Lucas Oil Pro Class will get a guaranteed staring spot in the Thanksgiving Thunder $10,000 to win Pro Class feature event at the Georgia Karting Komplex in Carnesville, GA on Nov 25-27th. Earl Pearson Jr. and Troy Duncan have also put up a $500 cash bonus if one racer can win both the Lucas Oil Pro Class feature and the Thanksgiving Thunder Pro Class feature event. In addition the Lucas Oil Go-Kart Shootout weekend will consist of numerous classes and divisions with a total purse of over $35,000 in cash and prizes that will be paid out over the entire weekend. This year's mega event will include increased prize monies to make it the richest paying Lucas Oil Go-Kart Shootout ever!! This year's event will take place on November 5-7th and again will be held at Iron City Motorsports Karting Complex in Blacksburg, SC. "We are very excited to announce this years Lucas Oil Pro Class will pay $10,000 to the winner and over $18,000 in cash awards paid out to the top fifteen finishers. We are also happy to announce that the event will again take place at Iron City Motorsports Karting Complex for the second year in a row. They have a great staff that bent over backwards for us last year and to put on a great show in spite of the bad weather we fought the entire weekend.
