Applebee Motorsports E-Mod Invasion III at Stateline Speedway

By Glenn Slocum

Busti, NY: Thanks to Applebee Motorsports $5,000 will be awarded to the winner of the E-Mod Invasion III feature event at Stateline Speedway. This race is the area’s biggest E-Mod race and should attract racers from miles around. Brent Rhebergen is the defending Champion. Rhebergen won the wind shortened event last year. Fifty-six drivers were on hand last year to try for one of the twenty-six starting spots. Justin Carlson is the E-Mod point leader and leads in the win column with three. Corry PA’s Mike Munsee is second and Ischua NY’s Rich Michael Jr. is third.

All of the racing division will compete with the E-Mods headlined by the Super Late Model division. Chad Valone, Warren PA, is the Super Late Model point leader with a 99 point lead over Spring Creek PA’s Scott Gurdak. Rod Maloy, Panama NY, is third.

Russell PA’s Mike Moore could take off a couple of nights and remain the Outlaw Cadet leader. Lakewood NY’s Chad Carlson is second.

John Boardman, Jamestown NY, dominates the Super Sportsman class.

The Spectator point chase is tight with Stan Davis Jr. on top just 22 points ahead of Brocton NY’s Mike Moon.

The Super Challenger division is virtually tied as Aaron Liberati leads by just 3 points over Garland PA’s Bobby Rouche.

Tabetha Houser, North East PA, won last weeks Lady Challenger feature and remains the point leader.

Gates open on Saturday at 5:00 PM with racing starting at 7:00 PM. Adult admission is $10.00, Seniors $9.00 and Kids 6 to 15 $5.00.
