PAT ADAMS WINS 1ST CAREER FEATURE
IN STOCKS; DARYL CHARLIER 1ST IN EMODS AT EXPO.
Cortland,Ohio
In front of a SRO crowd during the
annual Trumbull County Fair, Expo Speedway roared back to life on
Sunday July 5th with action aplenty in the Emods and Stocks
divisions.
In the Stock feature PAT ADAMS picked up
his 1st career win as original winner ALAN DELLINGER was
disqualified for an illegal carbourator as per Raceway 7/Sharon
stock rules.Out of the 13 car starting field attrition took its toll
as only 2 cars survived as the red and checker was displayed for
veteran CHARLIE JASINSKI who barrell-rolled down the backstretch on
the white flag lap. Charlie was ok but the car was a total loss.
In the companion EMOD feature PPMS
regular DARYL CHARLIER led from the start and was not challenged the
entire 15 laps. Mike Hoover flipped in turn 1 during the race and
was uninjured. Fellow PPMS driver Watne Tessean was second over Bob
Diver.
The fairboard and organizers wish to
thank all who came out to support the races at the 5/8 mile
speedplant with possibilities of more races to come in the fall.
