Autograph sessions scheduled for “Racing for Kids” drivers at Sharon and Eriez Speedways World of Outlaws Events!!!

Erie, PA (July 21, 2008) – The World of Outlaw Late Model series will be visiting two of the premier dirt tracks in the northeast this coming weekend and the Racing for Kids Charities will be in attendance with drivers for autograph sessions.  For only $3.00 fans can obtain a poster of the best local Dirt Late Model drivers in the tri-state area and get them autographed by several drivers, and receive tickets for the September 17 “Down and Dirty” racing with twelve of the best to ever turn a steering wheel.

Extra at the Eriez event will be a live broadcast by WCTL, including handouts for the fans.

Dirt Late Model drivers will be participating in a special event using Lake Erie Speedway “Sport-Mods” to raise cash for local charities benefiting children.  Along with the posters to raise funds for the charities, several auctions will be held at Lake Erie Speedway the day of the racing and other fund-raising will occur.  Auction items will include door panels from several of the Dirt Late Model drivers.

Racing For Kids Charities is raffling a Dale Earnhardt Jr. race helmet, autographed by Dale Earnhardt Jr. The helmet is a full face red Budweiser helmet. Tickets are $5.00 per ticket or 3 tickets for $10.00 and are available at each of the autograph sessions or at Stewart Financial Services at 1946 West 26th Street Erie PA, or call 814-454-2472. Fans need not be present to win, but if the lucky fan is present at the “Down And Dirty” he/she can pick the dirt star of his/her choice to drive the winner on several hot laps in the Lake Erie Speedway Nascar late model, a great chance to break in the Dale Earnhardt Jr. helmet.  There are a limited amount of tickets available and are going fast.

To obtain a ticket for the racing at Lake Erie Speedway all a fan needs to do is attend one of the local area dirt tracks where there will be an autograph session and obtain a poster for only $3.00.  At each of the local events three (or four) drivers will be available to autograph posters and other memorabilia during the evening.  Look for the Racing for Kids displays at the below tracks coming up soon.

The “Thunder on the Mountain” Golf Classic will take place on September 17 at the upper course at Peak-N-Peak Resort. The event will start at 9:30 am with the “Parade Of Race Cars” to the upper course club house. The golf event will be started by the sound of race car engines thundering across the mountain. Several openings to play 18 holes with one of the regions great dirt super late model stars are still available. At the conclusion of the golf event all players are invited back to the VIP suite at Lake Erie Speedway for the “Down And Dirty Dirt Invades Lake Erie Speedway”. That event consists of the Rand Machine Products “Down and Dirty” super late model dirt race, The Bonnell Collision Winged Dirt Sprint Car Exhibition and Plyler Overhead Door Nascar Late Model Invitational.  Fans will also have the opportunity to meet all the dirt stars up close and a live auction of many great items featuring a catered buffet dinner. Cost is $150.00 per person or $500.00 per foursome. Reservations can be made by calling Stewart Financial Services at 814-454-2472 or visit us at Racing For Kids Erie.com
