The World of Outlwas invade Eriez Speedway
tonight on a beautiful Sunday evening with 48 OUTLAW LATE MODELS in the
pits gunning for the checkers at the end of the 50 lap A main along with
a $10,000 check to cap off the evening. Specialty Products Street Stocks - Paul Shrekengost captures his first feature win here at Eriez Speedway beating out the competition. The points leaders have kept their machines in the garage this weekend dueto this weekends events are a non points event. Firestone and Bates were both on hand to watch the late models battle it out. Akerly Concrete Limited Late Models - Wade Slaney and Greg Fenno, top two in points run bumper to bottom for 19 laps of the feature event. A hard charging Paul Norman cant slip by Fenno for second but the two put on quite a show for the second position. With one to go Brian Zimmerly dives to the bottom and takes the second position from Fenno. In the End it was Wade Slaney Taking his 27 machine to Victory lane once again this season. World of Outlaws Late Models - Robbie Blair and Steve Francis start off the Front row for 50 Lap main event here at Eriez Speedway. $10,000 is on the line as we have a full field of top contenders so who knows what row the winner will come from. Blair leads them through turn 4 as Spanky Hall gives them the green. The Colonel Steve Francis leads the 50 lap event until lap 16 When the Titusville Terror Robbie Blair steps to the outside and gets Francis at the line. They Battle for the lead door to door for the next 5 laps when Francis gets back by on the bottom. Caution flies for Randy Lobb on lap 24 to slow the field and bunch them back up for the restart. Spanky Lets the green fly and the race stays green for the remainder with T-Mac gliding the high side moving up to the 4th position. Third was Josh Richards, Second was Robbie Blair and your winner the Colonel Steve Francis. Plyler Overhead Door E-mods - Al Crocker in his 4jr machine wins E-mod event leading the event from the drop of the green. The event went green from the start as the track was good from the top to bottom. The top five stack up like this - 1. Al Crocker, 2.Jack Young, 3.Alex Feisler, 4.Rich Michaels, 5.Greg Johnson
