Jake Knowles notched his first career OSAS win by taking the lead from four time OSAS Champion Clint Smith with less than 20 laps to go. The 19 year old Knowles started 5th and collected $5,000 for his victory over a stout 36 car field.  Here are photos from the event at Sunday night's O'Reilly Southern All Star's event at the Rome Speedway in Georgia.  Photos by Troy & Carol Shareiko, CTC Photos, Please DO NOT COPY!!!

3rd place points man Jeff Cooke (99) had a strong earlu run, but fell victim to mechanical woes that sidelined him for the night. Here he races with Derrick Rainey (87).

Brandon Kinzer (18) had a top 10 run. Here he races with WoO member Shane Clanton (25) who would finish third.

Eventual Fifth place finisher Chris Madden (44) makes his way back to the front after pitting for a flat tire early in the race.

Second place finisher Clint Smith (44) takes the lead from early race leader Jimmy Owens (20). Owens would pit at least once and was never a factor again.

Race winner Jake Knowles (66) moves around OSAS regular Rodney Martin (92)for second at the mid-race point.

The Rome racing surface was in good racing shape all night. Here Chris Madden (44), Mark Vineyard (4) & Frank Ingram race three wide for position.

This pass by Jake Knowles (66) on 4 time OSAS Champion Clint Smith(44) with less than 20 laps to go would be the pass of his young career and take him to the $5,000 payday.
